The 2007 Utah state quarters feature a design on the reverse side of the coin that showcases two locomotives meeting each other at the golden spike, representing the “crossroads of the West.”

The year 1896 is inscribed on the coin to commemorate Utah’s official entry into the union.

The US minted different series of the Utah quarter, including the 2007 P quarter, 2007 D quarter, 2007 S proof quarter, and 2007 S silver proof quarter.

Proof coins are minted with more detail and are made specifically for collectors. The mint mark can be found on the obverse side of each coin under the “IN GOD WE TRUST” motto.

The value of the 2007 Utah quarters depends on the series and the coin’s condition.

Clad Quarters

The standard 2007 Utah clad quarters in circulated condition are worth their face value of $0.25. However, these coins sell for a premium in uncirculated condition.

The 2007 P and D Utah quarters are each worth around $0.75 in uncirculated condition with an MS 63 grade and can sell for around $4 in uncirculated condition with a grade of MS 65.

The 2007 S-proof Utah quarter is worth around $4.50 in PR 66DC condition and around $15 in PR 69DC condition.

Silver Proof Quarter

The 2007 S silver-proof Utah quarter is worth at least its weight in silver, with a melt value of $3.98 based on the current silver spot price of $22.01 per ounce.

This coin is worth around $11 in PR 66DC condition and around $20 in PR 69DC condition.

Grading System

The grading system used for the 2007 Utah quarters includes MS 63 choice uncirculated, MS 65 gem uncirculated, PR 66DC proof, and PR 69DC proof.
